Vitamins & minerals — example

Example

This example shows vitamins and minerals — and is honestly incomplete. Most foods, especially packaged ones, don’t carry micronutrient data in our source, so each figure totals only the foods that do and is a floor, not your true intake. Some nutrients have too little data to total at all.

≈ one week (7 logged days) of the example diary

Only 8 of the 21 foods logged this week carry any micronutrient data in our source — so everything below is a floor.

Potassium 1074 mg / day from 4 foods · floor
Calcium 405 mg / day from 6 foods · floor
Iron 3.2 mg / day from 2 foods · floor
Vitamin C 85.7 mg / day from 2 foods · floor
Vitamin D 10.8 µg / day from 2 foods · floor
Vitamin B12 3.9 µg / day from 4 foods · floor
Not enough data to total
MagnesiumFolateZincVitamin A

Too few of the week’s foods carry these in our source to give even a floor — so we don’t guess one.

Micronutrient values come mostly from research databases like USDA; foods logged from open, crowd-sourced data often don’t carry them. This report is partial by design — foods without a value count as zero, making every total a floor, and nutrients too sparse to total are named, not invented. No “% of daily value”, because that would imply a completeness the data doesn’t have.

This is a fixed example, not a real person — the same invented week feeds every example report. Your own diary reports are private and built only from what you log.
